Only wires go through the factory boot for all applications except one of them to use on the switch.
Where to run wires for roof light bar.
I have a 2020 defender hd10 lone star.
I am trying to install a roof light bar however i am trying to run my switch wires to the bishop terminals.
Once it is in the snorkel head the cable will run down into the dirty side of the airbox and will require drilling through the side of the airbox to penetrate the wiring back into the engine bay.
The only bus bar i have found is on.

Heck their own light bar has the wire on the drivers side.
The best way to do this is to drill a new hole in your roof near your roof mount brackets and run the wiring down directly into the cab of the truck.
Not sure your exact question but you should be able to run the led wiring under the rc bracket to the bottom then tuck under the cowl vent panel into the engine bay then easily through any pre existing firewall location where there are already factory wiring pass thru opening.

Although not commonly adopted it is possible to loop the wire from a roof light bar into the back of the snorkel head.
On the 2019 models there was a bus bar in the cab but i can t find one on the 2020 model.
Im goin with the totron bar and the wire out is on driver side too.
So not sure why they would say passenger only.
Do not just run the wiring loosely through the door jam.
Run along the driver side trim panel relays located under the hood for the light.
It is possible to run out the rear of the truck though is would be negating some of the internal wiring in the gobi rack for the rear lights.
This is the best method because it is the shortest distance for the wire to travel and it has the least chance of getting smashed in your.
